My Story

Thank you for visiting Belle of the Ball Weddings & Events! My name is Melissa Candolfi, Owner, and Coordinator (aka your party professional).

I am a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Public Relations and Journalism. 

I have been in the service industry for as long as I can remember which is where my passion for events first began. I focused my career objectives on Event Management, seeking intern positions throughout college and upon graduation - Event Coordinator.


In 2011, I experienced my first Summer in Ocean City, Maryland. After returning in 2012 and 2013, I fell in love with this small beach town and decided to make it my permanent home.


Belle of the Ball Weddings & Events has been a dream of mine for years. I love working closely with my clients to help create their vision. Every event is different, and every event has their own story. It is my job to listen to what you are searching for and make it a reality.

My job is to keep you in the best possible hands to assure your day is just as you imagined.  By offering my professional experience and guidance, I can assure you that every detail will be met.
